Community support is essential to pass a school levy. We estimate that we need 7,000 yes voters to pass a levy. Direct voter contact is the best way to generate yes votes. That means that school supporters need to talk with neighbors, friends, and family. Explain the urgent need for the levy and ask people to commit to vote yes.

One very easy way to show your support in voting yes is to add your name and other names to the My5 database.  Two additional ways to get involved are the following:

My5 Database

My5 is a database of Nordonia School supporters. It serves two purposes. First, it shows the level of community support for the schools. When people see a lot of school supporters in the database, it helps send a message that supporting schools in the right thing to do. Second, it supports the turn-out-the-vote phase of a campaign. We need all school supporters to turn out to the polls to vote. The database includes contact information to remind people to vote.

The name for the My5 database comes from the premise that if every school supporter finds another five school supporters to enter in the database, it will swell to the size needed to pass a levy. Please take the time to find supporters and help the database grow. Entering data is easy.
