Levy Vote

School Pride

Excellent schools are the foundation of an excellent community. Nordonia has had excellent schools. The district earned an Excellent with Distinction rating for the 2010-2011 school year.  This is the second year in a row that the highest rating was achieved. Will Nordonia continue its excellent track record? By voting yes for the school levy, the community will help make this possible.

Here is some additional evidence of the excellence achieved by Nordonia Hills City Schools in recent years:
  • Nordonia school students have improved their performance on the Ohio State achievement tests every year. The performance index increases as students improve their test scores. In the 2005-2006 school year, the district had a performance index of 97. By the 2010-2011 school year, the performance index reached 103.2.
  • More than $6.0 million in scholarships and grants were awarded to students in 2010.
  • The District was 1 of 25 in Ohio and 1 of 388 nationwide to be recognized for Advance Placement (AP) activity. The AP Program allows high school students to take college-level coursework in their high school. Schools like Nordonia made the AP honor role for increased participation and performance in the AP Program.
Lets’ do everything we can to pass a levy and put the schools in the position to continue an excellent education for our children.
