The following video describes what is needed to avoid state takeover. In a special presentation to the community, independent consultant Mr. Lowell Davis stated, "School district operations will probably be taken over by the state at the end of next year. Even if you pass this levy you've got to make an additional $3 million in cuts - that's a hard sell." It is important to note, the school district has made drastic reductions in expenditures over the past four years which total over $6 million.
